Liverpool Hospital Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit (LBIRU) is pleased to announce a dual event to recognise:
50th Anniversary of the foundation of the LBIRU
30th Anniversary of the establishment of the LBIRU at Liverpool Hospital
To celebrate these two anniversaries, there will be an:
9.30-11.30am - Academic symposium (In-person and on-line)
Titled ‘Thinking Back, Looking Forward’ the symposium will showcase previous staff, clients and families from the unit who have gone on to achieve national and international prominence in the field of brain injury rehabilitation.
Speakers will include Professors Robyn Tate, Leanne Togher, Skye McDonald, Leanne Hassett and Grahame Simpson along with Gabby Vasallo (lived experience) and Dr Ann Livingstone (family member).

12.00-3.00pm - Commemorative Lunch
The Commemorative Lunch will celebrate current and former patients, families and staff.
With our own Dr Gaston Nguyen as MC, the lunch for 150 people will include a program showcasing key milestones, stories and individuals from the unit’s past and present.

Venue: Liverpool Catholic Club (424-458 Hoxton Park Rd, Prestons NSW)
Guests are welcome to register for either the Commemorative Lunch or the Academic Symposium or both. Simply add the event/s you wish to attend during registration. Tickets are essential so if you want to come, click on the links above to reserve your place.
